Hansen’s Dairy Wagyu-Holstein beef is a real treat. 3/4″ thick, one 10- to 11-oz steak per package, bone-out (unlike photo). The New York Strip steak comes from a Japanese Wagyu and Holstein crossbred cow born and raised on Hansen’s Dairy farm. We do not use hormones or preventive antibiotics.
The Wagyu breed is known for its extensive marbling, resulting in very tender and rich beef. The fat has a low melting point, so the meat literally melts in your mouth. The New York Strip is known for its classic flavor and tenderness.
It is recommended to cook Wagyu beef to medium-rare for optimum flavor.
